I need my routine back! Right now I am working 3 jobs (nannying, sales, and bartender/server at a Country Club) and putting my apartment together-- it is no excuse but I have been extremellyyyyy unhealthy! My diet has been consisting of sugary foods and coffee--- lotssssss of coffee. Unhealthy, obscene amounts of coffee. I am working random hours of the day, and not putting in the time to exercise. Needless to say, I feel like crap. CRAP CRAP CRAP. I am in need of getting my act together if I think I can manage my life at all right now! Let's start with training tonight :)

My mom and I are heading to yoga class at Michael Tang's "World Class Martial Arts & Fitness" and then to Payless to find some fall flats. I love spending time with my mom, and it's even better when we can exercise together. She has an amazing body for being an almost 50 mother-of-three (she's gonna kill me if she reads this!) but hasn't taken the time to take care of herself over the past decade or so. I am really excited to get her back in the game.... although yoga is the one thing i am TERRIBLE at, so we will see! Update you on how it goes!

KARMA wellness water
I decided to try something new today and found this Karma Welness Water at CVS... It is 18fl oz of spring water with "KarmaCap Technology"- a capful of fresh vitamins and nutrients that you add to the water before you drink; pretty cool idea! It contains 110% of FRESH A, E, D, and ESSENTIAL B Vitamins plus yerba mate, choline, and CO-Q10 with only 20 calories per bottle :) It is low in sodium, gluten free, lactose free, and vegan. Only 4g Carbs and 3g sugars-- I'm drinking the OrangeMango one now and it's pretty tasty! It is designed to enhace your mind, and encourage sharper thinking. GOOD! My mind has been a little less than sharp lately! I need all the help I can get! I will forever like water the best, but this is a good alternative if you get bored of plain H2O all the time!

my FAVORITE inexpensive nail polish brand- Spoiled. Gorgeous colors, long lasting polish, and only $1.99 at CVS!! i'm obsessed! This fall inspired color is called "I don't drink cheap wine" ...perfection.

If I weren't working today this is EXACTLY what I'd be doing right now. It is too beautiful out! If I find out that yall didnt take advantage of the weather today I will personally kick your ass! Mwah! xo Allie

It's hard to forget what happened this day 11 years ago.. I was in the sixth grade and remember hearing that things would never be the same, but I didn't fully understand what that meant. To this day I am not sure if ever figured it out, but I do know that they were right- things have not been the same. This "new normal" we live in involves losing loved ones over-seas, racial-profile people we pin as "terrorists", fear and worry on every flight we take, and hope that a hero will come and make everything better again. I do not know enough about politics to say who that "hero" should be, but I can see that it is consuming everybody's thoughts and words in recent days. We must never forget what we said when the attacks on 9/11 occurred- That you can destroy our buildings, and murder our people- but you will NEVER kill our faith in the United States; United we stand, divided we fall. Today I hope that everyone puts the petty BS to the side, and appreciates who is still here, and remembers who has been lost. "7% of men have worn a US Military uniform keeping our country free for 100% of Americans" -- for that I am thankfull
